It's Crunch Time

The youth is such an important part of Longton Community Church as many of them are serving in lots of different areas of church. Many exciting things happen across all the programs and events which all aim to introduce young people to Jesus and equip them to know him more. The youth is already a fantastic ministry but as there is a new youth team overseeing it, there is a new desire to improve and grow on previous success.

The youth team want to see the young people achieve their goal in the overall church vision. We want to see 400 young people by 2012 worshiping Jesus. The exciting thing is, there is an ever increasing number of young people who desire to see this vision fulfilled as well.

As a whole youth we agreed that the way forward is to make more room for more people, to Give what we have to serve God, Equip them better to be like Jesus, live a life Adoring Him, to continue Reaching (if possible) more people, and to do it all Together and love each other. It’s crunch time for the youth, a time for no excuses so in 2012 if we don’t see 400 by 2012 it won’t be down to a lack of effort or fear of trying things.
